We are looking for installers and an industrial sewing machine operator.

Family owned Langley Awning & Sign has been in business for over 30 years and we are looking for installers. The ideal candidates will already have experience in the industry and be familiar with all kinds of sign and awning installations. Construction experience is definitely an asset and working knowledge of the use of hand tools is a necessity.

Responsibilities:

-install awnings, signs & roll shutters as per manufacturer’s specifications

-program motors for awnings and roll shutters

-ensure that all lift equipment and safety harnesses are operational

-maintain a clean & safe work environment

-communicate with clients & colleagues in a calm, professional manner at all times

Requirements:

-high school diploma or equivalent

-current class 5 B.C. driver’s licence in good standing

-physical ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 50lbs

-comfortable & able to work on ladders, at heights

Certifications:

-fall protection (required, will be provided)

-boom lift ticket (asset)

-forklift ticket (asset)
